2025年9月11日 診断画像ネットワークは患者の画像データを医療AI会社と共有し、AI診断ツールのトレーニングに利用した。しかしOAICは、I-MEDが強力な匿名化技術、契約上の安全保護措置、ガバナンス慣行を適用し、再識別リスクを極めて低い水準に抑えていたことを確認した。軽微な情報漏洩インシデントは発生したものの、迅速に対処され、OAICは追加措置なしに調査を終了した。

The diagnostic imaging network shared patient imaging data with a healthcare AI company to train an AI diagnostic tool, however, the OAIC found that I-MED had applied strong de-identification techniques, contractual safeguards, and governance practices, reducing re-identification risks to a very low level; although minor disclosure incidents occurred, they were swiftly addressed, and the OAIC closed the inquiries without further action.
